Then in 2004 I was asked to DJ for a friend for their engagement party, they then asked me to do their wedding, and over these early years I was asked to play at numerous weddings, engagements and anniversaries just from word of mouth. During this time I noticed that a lot of weddings I attended as a guest had very cheesy djs, playing stuff like Agadoo, Superman and the Conga!

So I decided to become a full time Wedding DJ to offer clients something a lot more than what was on offer locally. You don't have to put up with a low quality DJ in this day and age! Musically I like to cater to all tastes and ages, so I try to play a broad range of music. But I am adept at reading a crowded room, and I play whatever goes down on the night. I find every wedding reception unique, thats why I love doing it.

For the wedding reception I like to take a must have list of songs from the bride and groom, also on the night I take requests from the guests, but it helps to let me know any banned songs or genres.

I have a vast array of popular songs from the 1920's to the 2010's, and what I like to do is, have a first dance song chosen and a last dance song. I also like to give you both, a grand entrance into the room for the first dance, and a big goodbye at the end of the night from all the guests with a song that is close to your hearts.

A bit more about me and my musical tastes - My Favourite Artists and bands (too many to list them all) are Mike Oldfield, Pink Floyd, Syd Barrett, The Doors, The Who, Ozric Tentacles, Kraftwerk, The Orb, Queen, The Clash, David Bowie, Stranglers, Iggy Pop, The Rolling Stones, Foo Fighters, Radio Head, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, James Brown, Depeche Mode, Kate Bush, Jean Michel Jarre, Enya, Vangelis, Sex Pistols, Art Garfunkel, Led Zeppelin, The Cult, Fleetwood Mac, Joy division, Happy Mondays, Stone Roses and Nirvana. I also like Oldskool Hip Hop/Rap/Electro, stuff like N.W.A, Public Enemy, Run DMC Etc.

In the late 1980's I got into the Acid House and Rave scene, which is why I started to learn to DJ, I was too young to attend any but got to my first hardcore rave aged 15 in 1991, wow what a night! and I have been hooked on underground dance music ever since. I also love collecting Oldskool Dance music from that era. I love House, Garage, Techno, Hardcore, Breaks, Drum & Bass, Jungle, Trance, Hip Hop, Electro & R&B.

Some of my favourite underground dance music bands and DJ's which I got to see in the heady 90's are - The Prodigy, N-Joi, Hybrid, DJ Shadow, Frankie Knuckles, Grooverider, Carl Cox, Brandon Block, John Kelly, DJ Rap, Paul Oakenfold, Laurent Garnier, CJ Bolland, Ellis Dee, LTJ Bukem, Jumpin Jack Frost, Mickey Finn, Nicky Blackmarket, DJ SS, Adam F, etc.

But I would say I like all types of music, even chart music (Top40) (except Steps, S Club, etc) so at least you know if you book me, if your a Rock, Punk, Dance, Trance, RnB, Soul or Disco head, I will be your man! 

In my spare time I like to keep fit by riding Motorcycles & Mountain Bikes and going to the occasional Rave.
